Taking responsibility for your thoughts and feelings can be one of the easiest and quickest ways to empower yourself. When you are triggered or upset by something that happens or something that someone says, it’s important to remember that no one, no thing, and no situation can make you feel or think anything, unless you allow it to.
If you blame someone or something else for your frustration you are giving your power away to it. The thoughts you think, feelings you feel, and words you speak create your every experience. When you take responsibility for your thoughts and feelings you take your power back and can consciously choose what you want to focus on, and therefore create it in your life.
Hopefully you will choose to focus on what you do what, so you can create more of it, rather than giving your power away to something you don’t want or are not happy with. When you take responsibility for your thoughts, feelings and words and align them with what you want, more of it will show up in your life.
